Pesquera Azimut is a company specialized in the international commercialization of fish and cephalopods ultra-frozen at sea, based in Vigo. It operates in the B2B market as a commercial partner to vessel-owning companies, providing operational insight, know-how, logistics management, and supply stability.

With more than 20 years of experience, Azimut works primarily with fish and cephalopods caught in the Southwest Atlantic (FAO 41), one of the world’s main fishing grounds, with a particular focus on Argentine Hake (Merluccius hubbsi) and Argentine Shortfin Squid (Illex argentinus).

Operations between origin and market

Azimut’s activity is coordinated from Vigo, Europe’s leading fishing port, where commercial management, direct client relationships and international logistics coordination are centralised.

Our operations are supported by a continuous presence in the South Atlantic, particularly in Uruguay, working on a stable basis with shipowning companies operating in the area. This proximity to origin allows us to gain first-hand insight into product availability and the actual conditions of catch.

Azimut specialises in the international commercialisation of seafood products frozen at sea, with a strong focus on the Southwest Atlantic.

Our value lies in rigorous supplier selection, deep knowledge of species, extensive experience in international logistics management, and the ability to structure efficient and reliable commercial operations.

International track record

Over more than two decades, Azimut has built a solid commercial network, with sales in over 40 countries and a presence across five continents. Exceeding 30,000 tonnes of ultra-frozen product captured at sea in the South Atlantic.
